Unwed Sailor - Truth or Consequences (2021)

I’ve been spending a lot of the past week proofreading my book (which you can pre-order at this link, by the way.), and in order to really focus, I’ve been listening to a lot of instrumental post-rock music, by bands like Explosions in the Sky, and Hammock.

Unwed Sailor appeared on my radar thanks to multiple Facebook groups that I’m in, so I gave them a shot. What a fun, interesting, library of music this is. Put it on repeat, throw open your notebook, and get your red pen ready. This is great music for improving your focus.

The Book of Boba Fett (trailer)

Despite being a die hard Star Wars fan since childhood, I would have left the franchise behind if it wasn’t for the work of Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni. First came The Mandalorian, and now, the natural spin-off, The Book of Boba Fett is coming soon. What the sequel trilogy lacked was the wild west feel of the original trilogy, and The Mandalorian had that in spades. The Book of Boba Fett appears to have that same spirit, but with a bit of The Sopranos thrown in. And I’ll be there for every second of it.

The Young Bucks - Killing the Business

I know it isn’t bad business sense to promote a book other than my own, but this is a deal that’s too hard to turn down. For a short time, the Kindle version of Killing the Business: From the Backyards to the Big Leagues by Matt and Nick Jackson is only $1.99 on Amazon. As I finished up the first draft of my own book, I started listening to this on Audible, and it’s a great story. And while the Bucks are far more successful than I will ever be, they are super easy to relate to. and for under $2, it’s a steal.
